Let Us Plan Your Groups Next Destination Adventure
Is Identification required for my student to travel?
Although students ages 17 and under, are not required to have a valid ID to travel by air, we do strongly suggest that students bring their school issued ID if given one. This will help the group pass through TSA checkpoints more smoothly. If 18 years, or older at the time of travel, a valid state issued ID is required to travel.
How are the sleeping arrangements made during trips?
We exclusively stay in hotels that provide suites. (2 beds, living room w/ pull out couch) Students are paired 3 per room according to the same sex. While boys and girl rooms are placed on separate floors, we use the student written essays to make the best determination in pairing each student group. We take into account grade, similar interests, hobbies, and other factors according to the students written essay. If students have a specific roommate preference prior to the tour, please make us aware, and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
How should my student pack for the tour?
We encourage students to dress comfortably, yet business casual as we are invited guests. Since most campuses are vast, we encourage students to wear comfortable shoes as there will most likely be a lot of walking. We encourage students and parents to check weather reports prior to the tour, and dress according to the expected local weather. It is always a good idea to bring a light jacket, or sweater as aircraft cabins, and charter busses can be cold at times.
Is there any student follow-up after the tour? What's Next?
Yay! Now that your student has successfully completed one of our tours, they are now eligible to take part in any of our online college readiness programs. Each month we will host a 1 hr., online course that will assist students, as well as answer questions regarding the college application process. We will cover topics like, Mastering the college application process, Understanding money, knowing the difference between scholarships and financial aid, balancing life in college, and career after college. We will also have guest speakers, admissions counselors, students, alumni, and others sharing their college knowledge, and experiences.
